In the Philippines, sewing machines provide a source of income for Battered Women to give their families an education, clothing, a safe place to live and also give the woman the self confidence to pursue hope.

In Sri Lanka, sewing machines provide an extra source of income for families in need.

In India, sewing machines are also being utilised to provide extra income for families to bring change to their generational, limiting lifestyles and benefit their entire communities.
